What Does Getting SureSmile® Aligners Involve?

Getting SureSmile® Clear Aligners starts with an appointment at our office. We will take photos and a digital scan of your teeth that will be used to make your custom aligners. Then, we work with the dental experts at SureSmile® to create a treatment plan for you. This will involve the creation of a series of aligners that will progressively realign your teeth until you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted.

Once your aligners arrive, you will start the treatment. Typically, you will wear each aligner for a couple of weeks. Your treatment plan will also let you know how long you need to wear your aligner each day, and we will schedule times for you to come into the office on an ongoing basis to ensure the aligners are working as planned.

After treatment is concluded, you will receive a SureSmile® Whitening Kit to make your new smile even brighter. You will also be fit with a SureSmile® Retainer that will help ensure your newly-aligned teeth stay in place. Typically, patients wear the retainer every night for a year, though your treatment plan will depend on your unique situation.
