Marlys Matthiesen-Patient Coordinator is responsible for coordinating patient care; including treatment planning, financial arrangements, insurance benefits, and patient satisfaction.
Marlys joined our team in 2006 as a certified and DANB registered Dental Assistant. Within her first year she was asked to fill a new position as the Patient Financial Coordinator. With this new responsibility she was able to provide patients with a caring atmosphere for all their insurance and financial needs. She loves her job and hopes to give only her best to every patient. Marlys grew up in North Dakota, began her education at Bismarck State College and completed her education at North Dakota State College of Science, where she earned her degree in 1991. She lives in Bismarck with her husband and two beautiful children.

Jackie Brand- Clinical Manager coordinates all five of our operatories and is responsible for supply and equipment procurement, laboratory cases, and is a clinical assistant to Dr. Landgrebe.
Jackie was born in Montviedo, Minnesota but considers Abercrombie, North Dakota as her hometown, since that is where she was raised. Jackie has had the opportunity to live in many of the larger North Dakota cities, due to husband’s long career in the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Jackie has been working in dentistry for over 30 years in eight different clinics. She says that she’s enjoyed working with some great colleagues whom she’s proud to call friends. Her leisure time is spent boating on the Missouri river with her adult children and “my little pudding & pie” (her grandson). She also spends as much time as she can with her long time friend, on the lake in Minnesota.

Nora Griffin-Hygienist works with Dr. Landgrebe to provide preventive and periodontal dental care to our patients. She is responsible for our on-site and classroom patient education programs.
Nora is a registered dental hygienist and a member of our professional dental care team. She takes pride in her work and the smiles of her patients. As one of her patients you will receive the benefits of her many years of dental hygiene experience, plus her personal care and professional dedication. Nora was born in Minnesota, but spent most of her life in North Dakota where she and her husband raised their four children. She has been active in their church, girl scouts, boy scouts, sports of every kind and a wide variety of community and charitable activities. Nora enjoys cooking, baking, quilting, camping, reading, walking and spending time with her children, their spouses and her three grandsons.

Stacie Gardner- Hygienist works with Dr. Landgrebe to provide preventive and periodontal dental care. She is in charge of our re-care and reactivation programs.
Stacie has lived in Mandan most of her life. She has been a practicing dental hygienist since 2005 and received her degree from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. She has always been interested in the medical field and helping people, and becoming a hygienist was a perfect fit. Stacie has been married for four years to her husband Rick and they own Sunrise Delivery Service. Stacie and Rick enjoy riding their Harleys, working out at Gold’s Gym, and ice fishing during the winter months.

Erica Hursey- Office Manager leads the day-to-day dental office operations including staff management, marketing, and state & federal regulatory compliance.
Erica started with the practice in 2007 and compares her daily office duties to drinking from a fire hose. There are always thousands of things to do and only 8 hours or so…in which to get them done. Erica is originally from Ohio, but thanks to the vagabond life of a military wife, she’s had the opportunity to live in 4 countries and 8 different states. Since moving here to North Dakota, she’s been exploring our treasures, and so far she loves what she sees. Managing a dental office isn’t new to Erica, but rather than using the title “manager” she likes to think of herself as a “catalyst” to help our patients, staff, and the doctor achieve their goals. If there’s ever anything she can do for you please let her be of assistance.

Jodi Vogel-Dental Assistant is an assistant to Dr. Landgrebe. Her duties cover every area of the dental auxiliary spectrum including x-rays, data entry, patient education, and treatment.
Jodi was born and raised here in the Bismarck-Mandan Community. She’s the “little one” in her family of four and they all still reside in the area. It seems they just can’t get away from each other! Jodi has worked in the medical field for twelve years, so when she came to Ideal Image Dentistry & Spa as a Dental Assistant in 2007, it just felt right. She does what she can to put a smile on every patient’s face and is able to make even the darkest winter days seem sunny. Jodi is very close to her extended family and spends her weekends with as many of the cousins, nieces, and nephews as she can.
